EESI Group Services took the ‘Business of the Year’ title in the Stroud Life Awards gala dinner held on Wednesday the 24th of June 2009. It was appropriate that the venue for the ceremony was the Five Valleys Conference and Leisure Centre, part of ‘Forest Green Rovers FC’ splendid new stadium, as EESI were part of the design and construction team responsible for the building of this prestigious complex and are also an official club sponsor.

Interviewed after the presentation of the award Managing Director Mike Gardiner commented, “This was a great and unexpected honour. We know that we could not have achieved this without the assistance and team work from our dedicated workforce and the fantastic support of our many clients”.

He went on to say “I believe our success is down to those changes that we started to put in place about four years ago. For although our core business is still the design and installation of electrical systems in the industrial and commercial sectors, by adding complementary services provided by other divisions within the company to our clients across the country this cross selling has enabled the company to continue to grow by over 25% a year. We have in fact, in the past week, completed a £1.3 million local contract which included the services and expertise provided by the whole of the EESI Group”
